Because He Rose:
Everything is Possible
Jesus displayed the ultimate power of God by rising from the dead. Death is so final and makes us feel so powerless, but it did not keep Jesus in the tomb. He died that we might live and he lives that we can have power.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:11-13
Have you stopped to consider what Jesus was saying? Think about all he did, and we are to do even greater? He died to save us, but he rose to show us that not even death could defeat him, to show us that nothing is impossible. I don’t know about you, but I can barely wrap my mind around this. Jesus came to this world, accomplished everything that he set out to do, and says that we can do even greater things? Salvation without power will get us to heaven, but salvation with power and the belief that nothing is impossible propels us to the abundant and extraordinary life! Jesus says, “You Can!”
